Good: I have a dress that fits me, which I can wear on Saturday evening at the formal banquet I’m attending. Bad: I have only one dress which fits me right now. Good: The one dress that fits me is undoubtedly the most glamorous, fabulous, beautiful dress I own, or possibly have ever owned. So that makes it kind of okay.*
Tonight’s weigh-in finds me down 5 pounds for the week.
Total so far: -14.5 lbs.
Next week I will add some strength training to my newly-resumed exercise regime – I’ve pledged to do at least 20 minutes of strength training exercises (lifting weights, doing squats, push ups, etc) 3 times this week, in addition to continuing to improve my running distance and generally being an active person who walks at lunch time, etc.
*Also makes it ok: knowing I’m doing everything I can to fix the situation.
