I’ve been slammed at work lately, so here are some things I’ve read recently that I found thought-provoking:

I’ve mentioned here before that when I first started my keeping off my 200 pounds, I weighed myself obsessively, sometimes multiple times per day. These days, well, once a week is a lot for me – some weeks I know it’s not information that will have a positive impact so I skip it. It pays off in mental health to limit the obsession with the scale that a lot of us know lurks back there in the lizard brain.

    OMG, those disgusting facts were very disgusting! I’ll stick to grinding my own peanut butter and eating real fresh strawberries… I am so glad I don’t eat fast food any more!
